Back in the early 2000s, we shared an entrepreneurship class at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, where we first entertained the idea of starting a beverage business together.
In 2017, during a vacation with our wives, we stayed at the Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo. It was at their Chao Pescao tapas and innovative mixology bar where our genuine passion for craft beverages ignited. The initial drinks that we had left us so inspired that we participated in their mixology class, where we skillfully crafted cocktails with unconventional ingredients we hadn’t considered for mixology before. The resonating theme from the mixologists was the importance of balance in a great cocktail. This concept has stayed with us ever since, influencing how we approach crafting beverages, and it’s a principle we are actively pursuing in our premium foam toppers.
We attended Denver Start Up Week 2023 and we were inspired by the recurring theme to pursue something we were passionate about. With our mutual passion for mixology, the concept of BevHed was created. Focused on creating the ease of crafting cocktails, it all finally came together.
